Editor-in-Chief Giovanna Marotta (Università di Pisa)

The Editor-in-Chief sets the editorial vision and ensures the Journal aligns with its mission, scope, by promoting high academic standards. She oversees the manuscript submission process, manages the review process to ensure fairness, transparency, and adherence to ethical guidelines, and makes final editorial decisions. She coordinates and presides over both the Editorial Board and the Advisory Board. She also works with the Journal’s Publisher to ensure smooth production and distribution processes.

The Editorial Board supports the Editor-in-Chief in managing the journal. The board members provide subject-matter expertise in areas relevant to the Journal’s scope and assist the Editor-in-Chief in making final editorial decisions on submissions undergoing the peer-review process. They also provide advice on general matters such as changes to editorial policies (including peer review standards and ethical guidelines) or the journal's strategy (including special issues).
